Broadcasting (WRC)

Broadcasting and media distribution are the core business drivers for WRC Promoter and its stakeholders. They transform each event from a local experience into a global media product, delivering massive reach, measurable impact, and scalable value for brands.
Through live coverage, highlights, and digital content, fans stay connected year-round and partners gain prime visibility where audiences are most engaged.

2025 saw viewing hours climb at full speed. The cumulative audience for all primary TV coverage (live, on-demand, delayed and highlight programming) among WRC broadcasters increased by over +17% to 1.3 billion!
The increase in TV viewership for dedicated broadcasts resulted in a 16% rise in viewing hours as relevant key driver of media value for partners. An impressive growth was delivered across the European region (+24%), while the Middle East (+35%) and South & Central America (+95%) added serious acceleration, turning 2025 into a year of powerful upward momentum.
But the impact didn’t stop on TV screens. On social media, WRC’s strategic and collaborative approach powered its owned digital platforms to generate an impressive 2.23 billion impressions, 1.27 Billion video views and nearly 70 million engagements! WRC’s social presence kept evolving with the latest trends, including the launch of the championship’s official WhatsApp channel, adding to an already robust digital portfolio.
The official website of the FIA World Rally Championship, WRC.com, was relaunched in early 2025. The new state-of-the-art platform delivers the latest news, in-depth background content, exclusive live timing, and comprehensive presentations of all WRC stakeholders. In 2025, nearly 10 million active users visited the platform, generating more than 92 million interactions.

With a larger calendar in 2025 and new rounds venturing beyond Europe, the WRC is primed to continue its upward momentum with even greater viewership, social engagement and on-the-ground attendance in the seasons to come.
